Hello!
We are so pleased that you were able to attend our Parent Engagement kick-off that was specifically planned by parents for parents. We hope that you had a good time but also were able to learn some new information that will help your child reach their full potential. You were our Super Heroes for showing up and being interested in learning about working with your children and their school.
Our theme of Super Hero parents was clearly seen through the large numbers of parents that attended. We have reviewed the survey comments in order to help us plan future conferences. Some of the positives we heard were the appreciation for child care. We heard that loud and clear and will continue to offer child care at future parenting conferences. There were a large number of parents who want to receive parenting resources through email so we will begin to send information on how to help your child in school and at home through emails in the near future. Feel free to send us requests about topics that you are especially interested in hearing about. Another top request was for additional parenting conferences and we will start planning the next one soon. We could use feedback on the number of conferences in a year and in their timing. Did it work to come during the week or would a Saturday morning work better? What kind of breakout sessions are you interested in. We want to be receptive to your needs and wishes.
