PALs

Everything you need to know about PALs

Each GRPS school has a PAL, or Parent Action Leader, who links the Family and Community Engagement office and the caregiver network at their child’s school. PALs support family engagement by working closely with their school’s principal, attending school meetings, communicating closely with their schools’ families, and more.

As a GRPS parent or caregiver (or prospective GRPS family!), you are able to reach out to your school’s PAL for a variety of things. They can help you learn more about what it’s like to attend that school, connect you with the parent/caregiver network in the building, introduce you to the principal, and more! Does this sound like a role YOU might want to take on? We have openings for PALs at many GRPS schools – please consider applying for the role by following this link and submitting your information. As compensation for all they do for us, PALs receive a stipend and the pride that comes with knowing that they’ve made a true impact on their students’ educational achievement!
