Johnny and Nately Whitby have three wonderful children. The children are in preschool, second grade and third grade. They have all attended Grand Rapids Public Schools since preschool because Johnny and Nately were also products of the Grand Rapids Public Schools system. Johnny works full time and Nately works part time.
Nately volunteers in the school and chaperones field trips. They keep the lines of communication open with the teachers and other school officials so they can engage in the education of their children. They work hard to instill values, like respect, in the children that will serve them their whole lives.
The Whitbys hope that their children will be responsible, well-rounded, productive, respectful and educated children. They want them to strive to be the best that they can be. They are proud of their children when they hear at conference how they are excelling in their education over the years. The boys love to play video games and read. Johnny and Nately are a growing group of power parents in Grand Rapids Public Schools.
