For healthy mindsets

What do you believe about intelligence?

  • You can learn new things, but you can’t really change your basic intelligence.
  • Your intelligence is something about you that you can’t change very much.

If you strongly agree with both of these statements, you just might have a fixed mindset.

If you strongly disagree, you probably have a growth mindset.

The truth is that the brain changes and develops throughout life through a process called neuroplasticity. Certain experiences cause new connections in the brain to form or strengthen, making the brain smarter by literally rewiring it.

Work on cultivating three beliefs:

  1. Humans can grow smarter
  2. How we act can make us smarter
  3. Focusing on IMPROVEMENT is more productive than focusing on JUDGMENT
