How will the funds from GR Giving Day be used? Our goal for GR Giving Day is to provide therapeutic toys, games, workbooks, art supplies, and other support materials to be used in therapy sessions, foster care training, children’s groups, and provided to the families we work with in home-based sessions. This takes therapy and mental health and wellness care outside of the individual session and allows the clients to continue their care in a variety of ways, applying the therapeutic techniques in their daily lives.

How will the funds from GR Giving Day be used? Any funding received from this event will be used to offset the costs of procuring millions of dollars in essential goods. We pay about 2% of retail to source these items, and by covering this expense, we can avoid passing these costs onto our nonprofit and school partners. Our goal is to raise $250,000 (overall), which would fully cover our procurement budget, allowing us to continue providing vital resources to communities across Michigan without adding financial burdens to those we serve.
