What is Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)?
What is Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)? featured image

“Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions” (CASEL).

As your child adjusts to distance learning, supporting their social and emotional health is critical. CASEL, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, offers a vast array of resources that address how SEL acts as a response to today’s circumstances.
