Winter is the learning season
Winter is the learning season featured image

Extreme weather in Michigan may be one reason that school attendance goes down during the winter months. But did you know that the winter months are also the greatest time for uninterrupted learning? Because January, February, and March bring the longest streak of school without vacations, it is when some of the most important and intense learning happens.

Be sure to bundle your child up through the snowy season, and make sure his or her learning does not experience a deep freeze.

For a January refresher on why every day of school counts, take the Parent University online attendance class.
