Online Extension Extras Parenting Hour Parenting in the Digital Age Part 1

Part 1 Parenting in the Digital Age:

This workshop addresses the risks and challenges that today’s youth face as they use technology and social media from a special guest speaker Robin Batten who is the Program Director for Washtenaw Area Council for Children. The topics included for part 1 will cover bullying, digital reputation, and sexting. Parents will walk away with an increased awareness of youth online life and tips for supporting their children’s well-being and online safety. Helpful resources will also be provided.

Extension Extras Parenting Hour is a free online series of parenting workshops that provides guidance for parents of young children as they navigate the challenges, joys, and concerns of parenting.
