Starting School Safely

As we adjust to the impacts of COVID-19, the GRPS FACE team aims to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of our district’s students, parents/caregivers, and stakeholders.

Based on guidance and direction from the Kent County Health Department, Superintendent Leadriane Roby announced the plan for all schools to be 100% in-person, five days a week, during the 2021-2022 school year. As with everything related to COVID-19, these plans are subject to change, but we are excitedly anticipating a wonderful in-person start to our school year on August 24th, 2021!

The August issue of Power Parent Magazine contains back-to-school updates, relevant articles and information, and resources to support your student’s social and emotional health.
