A path forward for Union students
Challenge Scholars offers a way for families on the West Side of Grand Rapids to cover the costs of education after high school. Starting in 2020, students who stay on track and graduate from Union High School will attend college or technical training tuition-free.

Want to Do More?
All Grand Rapids Public Schools have ways for parents to get involved in learning beyond your home. One way is by being a part of your school’s Parent Teacher Community Council (PTCC). It works with parents, staff and community partners to help all students meet their academic potential. Ask your principal how you can participate.
